All round development essentially means intellectual, physical, moral, sensible and social development. All round development can be achieved only through education. Education plays a fundamental role in the making of a man and his development as a culturally well developed social animal.

Our Reputed, Recognised, Reverend institution T.M.H.N.U.Mat.Hr.Sec.School has been rendering its peaceful and selfless service to the society for the past 42 years and providing great confidence with care which breeds hearty hope to our younger citizens. Our magnanimous institution sets out its selfless service to the society in 1977 with the less number of 105 students. At present, the deepest ocean T.M.H.N.U.Mat.Hr.Sec.School is running silently with 3794 active basses because of the abundant blessings of the Almighty, greatest guidance of the management and the stupendous support of the scholastic teachers. We feel highly pride in providing our noticeable service to the society from L.Kg to XII - Std. A praise worthy note of our institution is, it is one of the best institutions in Theni District with many admirable achievements in academic and co - curricular activities.

A Silver Jubilee has a special significance in the life of any institution as it signifies a coming of age and maturity". The Silver Jubilee was proudly celebrated in a grand manner indicating our school's glory and spectacular achievements. The blissful occasion of 25th Anniversary was adorned well with the happiness shared by the management, teaching and non-teaching staff members, studious students, passionate parents and the fullest shower of the Lord's blessings.

 

The Ins And Outs of Our Institution

We believe strongly that the school infrastructure impacts the overall development of a child. The Infrastructure of our institution is growing day by day to provide the healthy and wealthy surroundings to the learners in order to make them feel comfort.

  • Our school comprises about 6 buildings and 160 ventilated class rooms for our students’ sophisticated learning. And we have an auditorium to conduct various competitions to showcase the innate talents of our students and groom their inborn virtues.
  • We have a well modernized Multimedia Theatre that helps the students experience a more interactive learning and better presentations.
  • The ATAL Lab is inducing the technical quest of our students especially in the process of empowering technology into the educational activities.
  •  We have well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science which are upgraded year after year for motivating the students to become the scientists.
  • The Math Lab has been increasing the interest of our I – VIII std students in Mathematics.
  • We have established well furnished  computer labs for our talented

     engineers.

  • To enrich the vocabulary of the students and train them speak fluently we’ve initiated the Linguaphone Lab which helps in their reading and speaking skills.
  • Our library comprises all sorts of books which gets stocked regularly with the latest editions. presently we’ve 5,300 books to quench our students’ thirst and we provide Genius Punnagai magazine to all the students and also issue Pattam paper for students’ reading and knowledge imparting.
  • We have a vast ground for major games and spacious provisions for

               indoor activities.

  • We have department-wise modernized staff rooms for the faculties to

               work  in a peaceful mindset.

  • An adequate supply of drinking water is being provided for all the

              students in the school and also we installed RO plant- water cooler in  

             all the wings.

  •  we provide good electricity facility to our students to learn comfortably and even when the power fails, we use NEW GENERATOR WITH 125 KVA POWER to satisfy the necessity of the students.
  • We have recently constructed around 15 Lavatories for our students’   

        great hygiene.

  • our great responsibility is to bring up a responsible citizen. So we concentrate devotedly in that aspect by rendering the serving dynasties namely JRC, SCOUTS & GUIDES, NGC and NSS to our students and involve them to go in pursuit of service to mankind.

 

  • To bring out the artistic skills in our students and to equip them well in     their life, we provide several fine arts classes like Handloom, Paintings, Skating, Karate, Hand Embroidery, Classical Dance, Chess, Yoga, Gymnastics, Mind Maths training, Robotics, Computer Graphics, etc….
  • To imbibe the students’ knowledge, English, Maths and Science Olympiads are conducted every year and our students perform excellently well in all. This year too it was held in the month of December and we are looking for the best results.
  • Our National language Hindi has been taught to our students from primary cadre. This helps the students in improving career opportunities and broadening their travel and cultural horizons.
  • Around 148 of our students wrote Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha Exam in the month of August and 197 of them wrote Parichaya Exam on 07.01.2024.
